Katherine Ace: A Retrospective in Memoriam

From August 14th-30th we will be honoring the wonderful talent and brilliant mind of the late Katherine Ace.  Ace was a well-established Portland painter with a reputation as one of Oregon’s leading visual artists.

Katherine was known, among other things, for her painterly recreations of scenes & characters from classic fairy tales. Her quiet yet determined advocacy for women in the art world is still praised.

On Saturday August 15th, from 3pm-5pm, we will be hosting a reception with her daughter Corinna and celebrating all that Katherine was and continues to represent.
